SOLD: 1946 Triumph 3T

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

I’ve owned this bike for 3 years. It’s been my daily runaround ever since. I bought a Triumph 350 because I’d hurt my back and couldn’t get on with big bikes. Now my back’s better I’ve recently bought a 5T for regular use, so unfortunately this faithful friend must go.
It starts first kick in […]

The previous owner stored this motorcycle for over 40 years. After a day with my mechanic and some new tyres, it passed its MOT and now buzzes around wonderfully in its new lease of life.

SOLD: 1934 Norton ‘Model 50’ 350cc ohv

Wednesday, January 24th, 2007

I fell in love with this beautiful motorcycle after seeing the Che Guevera film where they tour South America on a pre-war Norton. It’s the second year of Model 50 production and is a very rare bike. It looks great, and also starts, runs and handles well, and would be an excellent investment.

SOLD: 1953 Ford Prefect

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

The previous owner cherished this lovely old Prefect for over 20 years. The bodywork is excellent and it has a rebuilt engine. It appeared in the TV soap ‘Emmerdale Farm’ 10 years ago.
The interior is just as wonderful as the outside of the car. This beautiful 54-year-old Ford is good enough to enter for shows.

UPDATE 15TH MAY 2007:
JOHN AND PAM BOUGHT ELVIS 3 WEEKS AGO. LAST WEEK, THEY FLEW DOWN FROM EDINBURGH AND DROVE ELVIS BACK!
556 miles (with 2 stopovers en route).
They’d never driven a splitscreen before - nor left-hand drive. There were storms and strong winds. An epic journey.

1960 Capri Scooter

My first scooter was a Capri. I bought it from the guy who sat in front of me at school in 1968. It cost me 19/- 6d plus my transistor radio. I learned to ride by sitting on the scooter, firing it up, and then I put it in gear while turning the […]

SOLD: 1939 BSA C10 de Luxe

Sunday, January 14th, 2007

This 1939 BSA C10 de Luxe, with foot gear-change, cost £38 new, though a speedometer was extra.

It has been totally restored. I had it MOT tested recently, and it runs very well. After a few more jaunts riding it through the local countryside I’ll advertise it for sale.
